Semi / Fully Integrated Dishwashers – What’s the Difference?
At Ruislip Appliances, one of the most common questions we hear when customers are choosing a new dishwasher is: what’s the difference between semi-integrated and fully integrated models?
Semi / Fully Integrated Dishwashers – It’s a simple but important distinction:
- Fully Integrated Dishwashers are completely hidden behind your kitchen cabinet door. The control panel is tucked away at the top edge of the door, only visible when you open it. Once installed, it blends seamlessly with the rest of your kitchen.
- Semi-Integrated Dishwashers still have a kitchen cabinet door attached, but the control panel is visible on the front. This means you can see and access the settings without opening the door, and it gives a slightly more “appliance-like” look.
To help make it even clearer, Nick has made a video walking you through both options side by side, so you can see exactly how they look and function – and decide which is right for your kitchen.
